I took my degree in conference interpreting in November 2008 for English and German but I have continued to improve my knowledge of French through translation courses and passing two oral tests. Since I attended my university, I was interested for various terminological areas and later I also had an experience as translator of a purchase deed from English into Italian. I translated from and into German and English for a commercial textile office, where I also collaborated as liaison interpreter for business negotiations and in textile fairs and exhibitions. In May 2009 I had the opportunity to work at the Italian Consulate in Nuremberg, where I translated legal, administrative and press articles, official documents and certificates. It was also a good occasion to understand the diplomatic aspect of a very formal and structured job. Among my latest collaboration I have worked with the Court of Prato since they needed some translations as rogatory letters and documents of the Criminal Records Office or related to some civil and penal procedures.
Among my areas of specialization I can include business documents and correspondence, business and legal contracts, textile products and production, certificates, literary texts, airport and press language.
My original interest for foreign languages has always been tied to my strong preference for communication themes and interpersonal relations, two aspects that are at the basis of translation and interpreting work.
